It's time for the first monthly summary. So: what did happen in February? Because of the weather and the schedule I could not visit too much football matches. Result: three games and six visited grounds without attending a football event.
February started in Cracow, where I watched an UEFA Europa League game between Wisła Kraków and Standard Liege. The final result was 1:1, but I have to say that Standard was very lucky that day: they scored from the penalty kick in the first half and for more than an hour played with adventage of one player after Michał Czekaj was sent off in 26th minute. I think that Wisła had more chances to score a goal that day and Belgian side could be pleased after the final whistle.
The second game took place in Zabrze. That was 18th round of Polish T-Mobile Ekstraklasa and Górnik unexpectedly won 2:0 against Legia Warszawa. Here I should especially mention the first goal scored by Prejuce Nakoulma - you can watch it here.
Finally in the end of February I had an opportunity to visit Polish National Stadium in Warsaw during a friendly game between Poland and Portugal. It was a fisrt game at that stadium, that was build for UEFA Euro 2012.
Besides that I visited six more football grounds in Cracow and Warsaw. I have been to: Garbarnia Kraków, Wawel Kraków, Tramwaj Kraków and Zwierzyniecki KS Kraków and Gwardia Warszawa and Okęcie Warszawa.
Cheers!
Daniel
